Reattachment of complete oblique amputation of partial nail, nailplate & soft tissue

A.J.G. is a 25-year-old left-handed gentleman who sustained a band saw injury to his left index finger resulting in a complete oblique amputation of the radial aspect of the distal phalanx including the nailplate, nailbed and soft tissue of the distal phalanx of his fingertip while at work in September 2013.  Following debridement, the amputated part was reattached as a composite graft.
